The most vivid dreams occur to me when I'm relaxed. Rosa tucked me in Alicia's bed today at about 5 PM
, and I slept soundly till midnight
. I dreamed a whole story... but I can only remember some of it:
I remember going to a cemetery with Marcelo, and we had a bucket of paint (white, I think), because we had to meet someone there. I remember we went outside, around a small neighborhood, and did something with the paint, I'm not sure what... but then returned to the cemetery, and we left the bucket of paint on the cemetery floor. We went to the cemetery a second time, but this time I was driving
, and I hit a tombstone while parking. Well, we met my Music teacher there, and we went with him on a journey to find a wonderful land
, filled with treasures
. So we embarked on this ship, and we sailed for many months. We made a stop on an island
, and it WAS filled with treasure
, but it wasn't the one we were looking for, and besides, it was already called for (it was inhabited
). So we moved on, and finally got to the searched-for island
. It was so much more beautiful and plentiful than the one we found before. I remember arriving at the island
, and while approaching the coast, looking at a wonderful sunrise
and two white, smiling tigers at the island's
entrance. Because this island
was a place of legend, it had poems and other literature written about it. A guy from the crew recited one of the poems while I saw the sunrise
and the two tigers, and some beautiful palm trees
on the beach with white sands (I wish I could remember the poem). The sun
displayed as a whitish-yellow circle, with golden rays coming out from several sides. So we began to explore the island
, and I remember this image, of one of the crewmates, riding his horse on the breast of a giant statue made up entirely of gold coins
. The gold
was falling all over the place, and there were precious stones of all sorts and sizes, and the island
was fruitful, too. Well, after that, I was standing beside someone (I think it was my sister Elisa), and I got this bad feeling about the island
. And in that moment, we turned into seals. I could not believe it! My hands had no fingers, only a clumsy, sloppy fin! We were then taken by the rest of the crew, and each one of us was locked up in a small room with a PC
with internet access, but the access was restricted to one page only... this page was a development page, and the only thing we could do was develop a certain web application I had not yet finished. Somehow, Marcos was already in the story, and he was the one responsible for having us turned into seals and locked up. I couldn't do much with the computer
, anyway, since I had no fingers anymore. And I felt it was the most horrible experience I could ever have. One day, Marcos talked to me, and asked me if I wanted to go to McDonald's... to relax a little and eat something nice. I refused, and stayed home (yeah, somehow, the locked room was inside my house now).
And that's most of what I remember. Then I woke up
, and found myself in Alicia's room. She had fallen asleep in front of her PC
, and had several Messenger windows open. I turned it off for her, and found (indeed) Marcos and my mom talking about business and finances
. I overheard them for a while while I ate Granola with milk and drank sugared milk, (MMMMMMMM!!) then said Goodnight
and came up here to do this blog.
And maybe you wonder why the **** do I write all this. Well, I do have several reasons:
- I like to write.
- I practice my own writing style (unorthodox as it is).
- It hasn't been two hours since I woke up
and I've already forgotten lots of stuff about my dream. I want to "remember this in case I forget".
- I've got a friend that likes this kind of dreams (At least he liked the last one).
- My dreams are more exciting than my real life.
- Maybe my dream means something and someone will eventually tell me about it.
Maybe I can still catch some more sleeptime. Night.
