I just got a bunch of Michelle Branch songs
, and about the only thing I got from the first song was this phrase: "So lonely inside, so busy out there." I was kind of struck with it. I think this describes a very common symptom with us people today. (Not U.S. people... US as WE the people). Don't you think?
Sometimes we run and struggle and fight all day
, and we return home at the end of the day
, feeling no better than the day before. No better, no wiser, no happier, maybe only a lil bit richer.
I think it doesn't sound right. What do you think?
Antonio.
P.S. (Hmmm, the word "lonely" doesn't apply so well. Oh well, if you're paying attention, you can get the idea)
