Another one gone... [Taken from Live Spaces Blog, 02 octubre 2005, 22:03]

Another month... another week... another day gone. Time goes on and on and on. And since I realized that time was there to use it, life has been more fulfilling. I now actually realize that every single moment of life is an opportunity to do something... anything... anything at ALL. Whatever you want. And that's life. PERIOD.
If everyone truly KNEW that, and USED this powerful knowledge, the world would be quite different. But of course, the world is what it is, and not another. The only way to change it is through time, and of course willpower.
Well now, the facts. I took last week as leisure time... COECYS (Congreso de Estudiantes de Ciencias y Sistemas) 2005 was celebrated on Resort del Río, Km. 29.5 Carr. al Salvador, and I got permission from both my classes and my job. I disconnected myself from the rest of the world, and dedicated myself to enjoying meals, meeting people, making friends, swimming, playing ping-pong and minigolf... stuff I don't usually get to do. BUT, COECYS 2005 is over, and reality is now plugged back into my head.
Today I went to Fundaniñas to help organize the activities with the 21 little girls in the institution. There are girls from maybe 5 - 18 years old in there, and they're all there because of some legal process over their custody. Most of them are very joyful, bright, and gay (if you'd look up "gay" in the dictionary, you'd realize it has another meaning). They're not actually poor... they're cared for daily by two very responsible and loving nuns (that I know of). They've got a computer lab, nice living rooms, plenty of room, enough clothes, etc... They're just... some of them may be somehow disturbed. But they all seem pretty normal girls. Some of them are really sweet, and some are actually cool to be with! Even the little 6, 7 year-olds are tons of fun! I REALLY like to go there. We do horsie-rides, play circle games, play Tag, draw and color some pictures, get to know each other, teach them stuff, learn from them, etc...
Well, I'll post a COECYS pic. And I'll go to sleep. Bye.
