I just moved from my house on Monday. I think it's a good experience to live alone for a while, to learn how to cook
, wash, clean up after myself, and train for what I will eventually have to do (maybe not). It's only temporary
, since I'm going back to my house Nov. the 24th. I hope I do get to eat
and sleep
enough while I'm living in my new room. Up til now, it's all been OK. It's all very good: I now have HOT WATER!!!!, I've got N64 and several games, cable TV, complete freedom to exit and enter the house, I get to meet new people
, I'm learning to cook for myself, I'm learning to clean up, college is MUCH closer, the job's a bit closer, and I'll learn a lil bit more about the real world.
Now for the downside: I don't have Internet
. That's a big down
. Of course, I get to use Internet
here at the job, and at college too, so I CAN check my email
and stuff, but it's not just the same.
And I had the german embassy interview yesterday. It was not so good, but I'm still expecting the results to come. I'm calling the embassy on Wednesday to see how it went.
Compilers project is advancing. It's going fairly fast, and I hope it stays at AT LEAST that speed.
And I'm at the job right now. And, as you can see, I'm NOT working. I finished the jobs given, but now they're considering giving me another project. But until now, time's just floating past by me.
So, now I report having survived four nights at my new place. More reports to come later.
