Or filthy.
Or repugnant.
Or shameful.
Not truly.
Not deeply.
Not in the deep memories of our ancestors.
We hide it because that is where we have felt the most hurt.
Because that is where our sensitivity is intensest.
Because it is the densest physical channel between the polarities
Which grab and grope and pierce and cling and struggle and damage
Coarsely and clumsily and reactively
Compelled by the primal animal forces
Lust and fear
Before they realize that their fellow connector
Is a partner, and not a tool.
