Leaving Moscow!

Today I took my last walkthrough through what I still had pending here in Moscow (Kremlin and cool-looking metro stations), came back to the hostel, and I'm now just waiting to leave for the train station. I've got 2 hours until the train leaves, and the metro should take between 20 and 30 minutes to get to the train station, so I should be fine with the time.

I did not send either the postcards or souvenirs that I would have wanted to. Though I found the Moscow central post office, NO useful sign in that office was written in any language that was not russian, and since it's very common for russian people to know no language except english, I decided to wait and send my packages in a post office where the attendants would understand me.

Speaking about the metro stations, I think I'll post a few pictures of them here. It's been a while since I posted any images on this blog, anyway. So here goes:

Hmm, they appeared in reverse order. Oh well. Fancy decoration for metro stations, huh? Doesn't seem to do much for the muscovites, though.

I'm taking the trans-siberian tonight! :D :D Me excited.
