Matter is density and agglomeration, allowed hetereogeneity via stable energy states, via the non-monotonous patterns of energy containment within the shapes and structures explored in space, described, imagined by the study of Geometry.
An atom, a self-sustaining container of energy that does not decay spontaneously in the river of energy space - it has found a combination of components that mingle with one another in a minute, precise dance of push, pull, orbit, and jiggle. By geometric truth, it becomes the unit of construction with which very much of the world our body interacts with is built.
Rare are considered the atoms that largely do not bond with others, whether their own kind or not. Like humans, I notice.
Many types of atoms find a relaxeder, stabler state by bonding with their own kind. Non-noble gas atoms tend to pair up, and float in space, held together by their grasped electrons. And non-gases bond denser, closer to each other, forming crystals, denser fluids, or macro-particles stabler than when unbonded.
Land, water, and air arise via these and other phenomena, like heat, pressure, gravity. Heat & pressure are aggregated perceptions of the myriad bumps, pushes, pulls, and jiggles that atoms exert upon each other. They also, aggregated patterns of many units, flow like waves and currents through the ocean of energy, understood at the scale of each particle as transfer of momentum. A continuous inter-bumping.
The world, a ballpit with tiny units jiggling and dancing and bumping and speeding and slowing and breaking and melting and floating among each other. And within it, my human body grows, arises, a colossus that moves, shapes, and sees the particles with ease, all of it multi-colored sand to be seen, explored, known, and played with. All of these guided by my awareness, by the choice and willpower this body grows and learns to channel.
My game.
