Mistrust hinders flow.
Mistrust of anything.
Of what we think.
Of what we intend.
That the impulse we feel will not bear fruit
that the impulse we feel will lead us astray
fear that it will cause harm.
fear that we will regret it,
that it is a mistake.
Mistrust of our desire
fear that it is wrong
that it will be rejected
that it will be despised
that it will not reach its goal
that it will fail
Mistrust of our aspiration
fear that it is too high
fear that it will be derided
fear that it will be ridiculed
fear that it is not possible
fear that it will not reach its goal
fear that it will fail
Mistrust of our intuition
fear that it is wrong
fear that it is incorrect
that it is a hesitance
that it is a nuisance
that it is a bother
that it has no reason
that it is not justified
that its result is unknown
that it is unproven
that it disrupts
the patterns we know well.
Mistrust is but fear
that a presented something
bears different fruit
from that which is expected.
And fear is but aversion
to the rejected and the unknown.
But if we hold no expectation
mistrust does not arise.
And if we accept and know
that that which is unknown
is unknown
fear calms down.
